The SLT trim gets all of the standard features found in the SLE as well as 18-inch wheels, leather upholstery throughout the interior, wireless charging capabilities, and power adjustable front seats that are also heated.

For those who want an even longer list of creature comforts, there is the Denali edition. It gets everything included in th SLT as well as an upgraded Bose sound system, 20-inch chrome wheels, lamps for the cargo area, front seats that are both heated and ventilated, and a bed liner that has been sprayed in.

There are two engines available in the new 2019 GMC Canyon. The SL trim comes equipped with the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that is paired with a six-speed manual transmission and delivers 200 horsepower and 191 pound-feet of torque.

Depending on which configuration you choose, you can drive away in a base Canyon or SLE trim with either the 2.5-liter or a 3.6-liter V6 engine that pumps out 308 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. The SLT comes standard with the 3.6-liter, but it and the SLE can be equipped with a 2.8-liter four-cylinder diesel engine.

The Denali has the 3.6-liter V6.

All of this adds up to a towing rating of 7,000 pounds, which is 500 pounds more than the closest competitor. It also has a payload capacity of more than 1,390 pounds.
