The 2019 GMC Sierra 2500HD can be had in one of four trims; as a double cab or a crew cab; with a standard bed that's six feet, five inches in length or a long bed, which is eight feet, two inches long; and with two- or four-wheel drive capabilities.

All boast the classic GMC body, plenty of creature comforts and sheer power that has become the truck's calling card.

The base-level Sierra trim has 17-inch steel wheels, xenon headlights and LED daytime running lights. Inside, you'll find either cloth or vinyl upholstery, a 40/20/40-split front bench and a 60/40-split folding rear seat. There's also a seven-inch touchscreen that lets you control a six-speaker audio system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and the Bluetooth system.

The SLE edition adds alloy wheels, remote keyless entry, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a larger touchscreen, a tinted rear window and LED lights to illuminate the cargo box.

For those who prefer a more luxurious pickup truck experience, the SLT has 18-inch wheels, chrome trim, foglights and power-folding mirrors on the exterior. The interior is upgraded with comfort in mind, adding dual-zone climate control, leather upholstery throughout, driver-seat memory, power-adjustable pedals, remote ignition, and a 110-volt household-style power outlet.

And then there's the Denali edition, which takes style, comfort, and convenience to its highest levels by adding 20-inch wheels, additional chrome touches and a spray-in bed liner to the outside. Inside, there's a power-sliding rear window with a defogger, an onboard navigation system, wireless phone charging capabilities, a Bose sound system, a heated steering wheel and more.

One of the nice things about the 2019 GMC Sierra 2500HD is that many of the Denali's features can be added to the other trims. You can also add a bed storage box, a tonneau cover, trailering mirrors, a sunroof and a rear-seat entertainment system and more.

Your new 2019 GMC Sierra 2500HD will come with one of two engines. There's the 6.0-liter V8 that's paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and punches out 360 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. This engine is also available with a bi-fuel option that allows it to run on compressed natural gas. Or you can choose the turbocharged 6.6-liter diesel V8 that delivers 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque.

Power with either isn't a problem. The towing capacity can reach 15,400 pounds and the max payload up to 3,276 pounds.

There's also an available Z71 suspension package that adds a hill descent control system, skid plates and specially tuned shock absorbers. The SLT trim can also be upgraded to the All Terrain HD package, which throws in off-road tires, the Z71 suspension and a few other features.

All of this adds up to power, whether you're going from zero to sixty in under eight seconds or on an off-road adventure.
