The 2020 Canyon’s Design

The 2020 GMC Canyon has an aesthetically pleasing design, featuring a chrome-accent grille and LED headlamps. Fog lamps and daytime running lights are available and included on some trim models. 

The front of the Canyon closely resembles the Sierra. The pickup adds muscle with the flared fenders. Corner steps are added to the rear bumper, which allows effortless access to the cargo bed.

Inside the GMC Canyon

The 2020 GMC Canyon comes complete with a variety of luxury features for your comfort and convenience. It has plush seating and will seat four comfortably, but five is also manageable when needed. The base model offers cloth seating with leather accessible on higher trims. An 8” Infotainment center provides smartphone capabilities and Wi-Fi technology, and the six-speaker audio system provides hours of enjoyable entertainment.

The cabin is outfitted with a four-way-power driver seat to provide a better and more comfortable posture when driving. Additional standard features include power windows, power door locks, cargo-box lighting, a locking tailgate, and more.

Performance

The base model of the GMC Canyon comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. The 2.5-liter produces about 200 horsepower and is mated with a six-speed automatic transmission. Two- and four-wheel drive options are available with each of the three available engines. A more powerful option is the 3.6-liter V6 engine. It pushes 308 horsepower with 275 pound-foot of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission is teamed with the V6 engine, towing up to 7,000 pounds safely. When more power is needed, the diesel option may work best. The 2.8-liter turbodiesel offers 369 pound-foot of torque with 7,700 pounds of towing capacity.
