GMC Sierra 1500 AT4: Powerful, Flexible, and Comfortable aka Perfect for Aurora, IL Winters!

The truck has a maximum capacity of five passengers and a maximum payload of 1,580 pounds. Depending on your hauling needs, the AT4 is available with either a standard or short cargo box.

Strong and Capable

The AT4 truck has all the features you want in a truck. The truck’s standard engine is a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel engine, but it is also available in a 6.2-liter V8 gas engine. Potential horsepower is up to 420, torque up to 460 pound-feet, and a towing capacity of up to 9,100 pounds.

GMC MultiPro Tailgate

The six-function tailgate is a standard feature on the 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 truck. In addition to the standard primary tailgate, there is a second inner tailgate to use when hauling longer items. The AT4 also has easier access to the cargo bed with a full-width step and dropping both the inner secondary and primary gates allows closer access to the bed and cargo.

Suspension Lift and More

You know you are going to take your truck places where you will need every bit of clearance that you can get. Those are the times that you will appreciate the factory-installed two-inch suspension lift on your AT4. For extra support to your off-road driving, the shock absorbers are set to smooth out your ride in even the roughest terrain. In addition, the Sierra AT4 has a two-speed Autorac transfer case, skid plates, and a rear differential that locks automatically when needed.

The Interior

Although you buy your truck to use as a truck, there are times you also use it to go out to dinner or drive cross-country. These are the times that you will truly appreciate the benefits of the AT4 interior the most. The truck comes with a black interior and accents unique on the AT4. On cold mornings, the heated seats and steering wheel will help get your day started right. You will appreciate floor liners in both the front and the back with convenient, removable carpet inserts. Take advantage of the storage options that include under-seat and rear seatback storage space. You can count on the wireless phone projection that is both Android and Apple compatible.
